PTI manufacturers both Single and Double Pugmill Mixers.
These mixers simulate asphalt plant mixing by preparing consistent well-coated aggregate in less than a minute.
The mixers have temperature controlled chambers that are capable of maintaining mix temperature up to 400 F.
Each chamber has twin shafts with multiple paddle tips that insure thorough blending of material.
Each chamber is capable of blending 35-40 lbs. of aggregate in a single mix cycle.
The Mixers have a pneumatic slide gate at the bottom of each chamber that allow finished mix to be deposited into a receiver pan.
The Mixers meet the need for production oriented Labs that require large mix batches.
